우리 모두 한 번쯤 해가 길어지는 여름 어느 날 여러 가지 색으로 빛나는 노을을 보고 감탄하며 그 광경을 사진으로 남겨 본 추억이 있을 것이다. 계절 중 여름을 가장 좋아하는 작가는 여름 내내 해가 질 무렵이 되면 그날 하늘이 무슨 색으로 물들까 기대하며 하늘을 올려다보곤 했다. 주황빛, 다홍빛 노을을 보다가 분홍빛 노을을 보게 되면 기쁘고 설레어 쉴 새 없이 사진을 찍었다. 그 분홍빛 노을의 색이 2024 서울색 ‘스카이코랄' 이다. ｢나의 여름 하늘｣은 작가가 간직하고 있는 여름 하늘과 노을의 아름다움과 추억을 시민들과 함께 나누고 시민들이 ‘스카이코랄’을 만끽할 수 있도록 기획한 참여형 사운드 미디어 아트 전시이다. 시민들이 전시를 통해 각자만의 특별한 여름의 기억을 떠올리며 행복감, 그리움 등 다채로운 감정을 느끼고 가길 바란다.
전시는 3개의 공간에 4개의 작품으로 구성하였다.
Most of us have memories of taking a picture at the end of a long summer day when the sky lights up with the various colors of sunset. As someone whose favorite season is summer, I always look up in anticipation to see which color the summer sky will show at sunset. After seeing many orange and red sunsets, I am particularly excited and immediately take a photo on the days when the sunset is pink. This is the 2024 color of Seoul, “Skycoral”. My Summer Skies is an interactive sound media art exhibition designed to help citizens enjoy 'Skycoral'. Through the exhibition, I share the beauty and memories associated with summer sunset skies. I hope that by being reminded of their precious summer memories, viewers can experience happiness, nostalgia, and other emotions while viewing the exhibition.
The exhibition consists of four artworks in three sections.
<노을>(2024)은 사운드 인터랙티브 작품이다. 사람들이 하늘색, 주황색, 다홍색, 분홍색으로 가득한 화면 앞에서 자유롭게 움직일 때 그에 맞추어 화면이 변화하고 다양한 소리가 재생되도록 하였다.

Sunset (2024) is an interactive sound and motion graphic that responds to people moving in front of a screen colored sky blue, orange, red, and pink. When people move freely in front of the screen, a sound plays, and a part of the screen changes.

<연결>(2024)은 사람들이 자신이 촬영한 여름 하늘 사진을 공유할 수 있는 웹사이트이다. 각자의 휴대전화로 비치된 QR코드를 통해 사진 업로드 페이지에 접속할 수 있고, 전송한 사진은 큰 화면에 띄워진 웹사이트에서 실시간으로 확인할 수 있다.
